While we had been trying for a few months, we postponed the “trying” part for a couple months knowing the baby would make their appearance right in the heat of wedding season! And while we were beyond thrilled to find out we were due July 21st, I knew it would be a bummer for some of my brides. Denille and Brooks had booked me for July 10th, but after telling them the situation, they insisted they still wanted me as their photographer if no baby had arrived by that point. While I would be 38 1/2 weeks pregnant, I agreed! They were, after all, an amazing couple to photograph!! Here are a few of their engagement pictures we had taken just a few months before I found out I was pregnant and then on with the wedding!

Brooks & Denille were so much fun to photograph because of how IN LOVE they are... wow, I mean, it was written all over their faces the entire day :) I loved it. let's say GORGEOUS! And... just for some kicks and giggles, here's me at 38 weeks. Large and in charge!

My sweet baby girl was born July 24th at 6:41 pm weighing 7 lbs 6 oz and 19 inches long. She is absolutely perfect and everyday we fall more and more in love. I thought I’d post some pictures for you… as of course a proud mama would do! I’m sure there will be more to come!

Carrie had one of the best smiles I have ever seen, and when she laughed it just lit up an entire room! Here’s a few of my favorites from their big day!
The photo on the left was taken my wonderful assistant, Cassie Carrie's home had a beautiful little sunroom off of their family room.... I just loved it! She was so natural in front of the camera! Love this one! Did I mention Chris was also a natural in front of the camera! Carrie and her dad's dance was one of the most emotional daddy/daughter dances I've ever witnessed. It was such an amazing thing to see how much love they had for one another.

They are some of our great friends and have some beautiful children. I always get a little giddy when I get to photograph them. We set out to get some newborn shots of their newest addition, Miles, but the other two are just too cute not to capture… especially when they put on their charm to get your attention!

Luke couldn't handle Miles getting ALL the attention. Sweet and beautiful Nina We were able to capture this beautiful moment - but it only lasted a second. Anyways, here is the first of many posts to come… beautiful Heather and Michael.  Heather has a way of making you feel like you are the most important person in the room.  Her and Michael are the sweetest couple and I was so thrilled to be able to photograph them.  You can check out their engagement session here.

I’ve baby-sat him and his two older brothers since he was born and him and his family are like my second home here in Bloomington.
